Dječji centarOn the occasion of the upcoming holiday season children from the pre-school playrooom "Morning Flower" in Vodnjan were on 3 December 2015 visited by the vice-prefect Giuzepina Rajko. The children enjoyed sweets, sang and played, and spent a happy morning with Mrs. Rajko. Through the project "Together to school", which is being implemented from 1 July 2015 until 30 June 2016, 16 children from Pula and Vodnjan, who are not in position to attend regular kindergarten programs, arrive to the Centre every day. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Town of Vodnjan and the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Pula, Suncokret Association and the Society Our Children Pula.

Since 2005, Merlin Association has been continuously implementing integration programs and creating equal opportunities for all preschool children. In this school year, the project "Together to school" is co-financed by the European Economic Area and the Kingdom of Norway. The Kingdom of Norway, The Principality of Liechtenstein and Iceland have been financing projects in the Member States of the European Economic Area since 1994, in order to reduce social and economic disparities within the Community, and strengthen bilateral cooperation between Member States. National Foundation for Civil Society Development is the implementing body for the funds of the European Economic Area countries and the Kingdom of Norway in the field of civil society. In addition to funds from the Fund of the Kingdom of Norway and the participation of the partners, the project is also co-financed from the budget of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport, Istria County - the Office of the Italian national minority and other ethnic groups, and the National Foundation for Civil Society Development in Croatia throught the institutional support.
